Monday May 28th

Sorry it took me forever to get these next set of pictures ready. But on Monday we had such a fun BOSTON day! We woke up and it was Ken's Birthday!! Zack wanted to give his dad breakfast in bed so that's how we started the day.

Next we loaded up and got on the T and headed into Boston! Zack loved showing Nana and Grandpa the train!
When we got there we had forgotten it was memorial day and it was amazing the flags that were out for it.

We found this interesting character and the boys were fascinated by him haha.

Next we were off to feed the ducks. The boys loved this!
Apparently that duck had a piece of bread that  didn't belong to him.

Zack, Grandpa, Nana and Ken all went and rode the swan boats. It was so cute. Preston and I decided to stay on the shore in fear Preston would go for a dip.

 Our cute birthday boy!
 A swan's nest.

Next we started down the freedom trail! It is so interesting and so much history. It was great learning and doing it again with Nana and Grandpa!

The state house, with gold on the top (is what Zack always says)
 This marks the freedom trail.
 The Granary Burying Ground

I may have forgot to take pictures along the way of the trail but we made it to Quincy market where we took a rest and stopped for some lunch. Presto saw that mac and cheese noodle and thought his dreams had come true. lol
We stopped for some hotdogs for lunch and found a nice little places to rest.

 My 3 boys
So we promised Zack if he would behave and be good for the freedom trail  we would stop and go on the merry go round. lol Preston on the other hand didn't find that as rewarding... in fact poor Papa probably still has nail marks in his neck from little Preston.

 Nana and her boy.
This was neat in Quincy Market. I don't really know what they were doing but it was really neat to see!
So once we were all worn out we headed home to celebrate Ken's  big 30th Birthday! We opened presents.

For his 30th birthday all he asked for was a gravy boat... lol a gravy boat?

HAPPY 30th KEN!!! So my present to ken was a trip to VEGAS!! We are going to Vegas in September!!! Just the two of us!!! I can't wait!

We had such a fun day on Monday! Love having Nana and Grandpa there to celebrate with us!! Miss you guys already.
